KUWTK: The Kardashians make a pact to change their "nasty" ways
Calabasas, California – It only took 19 seasons of Keeping Up With the Kardashians for Kourtney Kardashian to realize the way her family speaks to one another might not be the kindest.
Things got real in the Kardashian household on Thursday night. As the family begins to close the doors on the show, Kim Kardashian and Scott Disick reminisced on the early days of filming and how it got them pretty much everything they have now.
This sweet trip down memory lane was cut short when Kourtney and Kim got into a classic Kardashian tiff over Kim's nanny.
Kourtney had an issue with the way her sister's nanny spoke to one of her kids, and had no issue bringing it up in the only way Kourtney knows how: abrasively.
But Kim had a counter ready to go and she came at Kourtney all guns a-blazing, belittling her concern and hurt feelings.
The 40-year-old told Kourtney that her nanny felt "degraded" by how Kourtney spoke to her. Being the mature adult she is, Kourtney quipped back, "Shut up, the way you're talking is wild."
On any other day, it would be Kim running out of the room, crying hysterically, but this time, it was Kourtney who tearfully retreated to the bathroom.
The whole experience turned out to be a come-to-Jesus moment for the 42-year-old. Rather than deflecting any responsibility for her part in the hostility, Kourtney admitted that she was part of the family's "nasty" attitude problem.
Keeping up with kindness
Rather than this being a fleeting thought that amounts to nothing, Kourtney and her sisters were adamant about changing their ways – one dollar at a time.
There are some new rules in the Kardashian-Jenner universe: if anyone in the family, Kris and Khloé included, comes at someone else with an attitude and nasty tone, it will cost them one dollar bill, on which they'll have to write their name on before putting it into the equivalent of a swear jar.
When the jar is full, whoever's name comes up the fewest times will get to walk away with all the cash!
While this incentive might be more effective for those who aren't multi-millionaires, it'll still be a trip to see who comes out on top as the least "nasty" Kardashian.
