Kim Kardashian gets all hot and bothered over a robbery and Kourtney's relationship with a TikToker
Los Angeles, California – This week's Keeping Up With the Kardashians featured a pretty shocking development: Kim's best friend Jonathan "Foodgod" Cheban got mugged on the streets of New Jersey!
As she talked a terrified Cheban down on the pone, Kim got transported back to her own traumatic experiences. Back in 2015, she was robbed at gunpoint in a Paris hotel.
This, along with the fear posed by Covid-19 and that state of the world, put Kim in a pretty dark mood, which led her to check out the "bunker business" in preparation for the worst.
The 40-year-old is no stranger to the bunker game, given that Kanye West was holed up on a ranch in Wyoming for a portion of 2020. Still, it was time to get in touch with professionals, leading her to contact Clyde Scott of Rising S Company, the largest manufacturer of all-steel underground bunkers, to set up a test run.
Kim enlisted the help of Khloé, and they headed out to the middle of the California desert to take a look at where they would have to hunker down if things ever got apocalyptic.
Given the lack of entertainment and the sweltering 105-degree temperatures, Kim quickly realized this solution wouldn't fit with the Kardashian lifestyle, which would need to be maintained even in the midst of a societal collapse.
As Kim checked one item off her to-do list, another arose: decoding the vibe between Kourtney and TikTok celebrity Addison Rae. The unlikely pair became friends after YouTuber David Dobrik introduced the two, and they've been an inseparable, giddy duo ever since.
Things aren't always as they appear
When Kourtney is around Addison, her entire aura is different. She seems carefree, smiling, and laughing more than ever. Their connection was something that Kim and Khloé couldn't ignore, and in true Kardashian fashion, they began to investigate, speculate, and scheme.
Rather than just asking Kourtney if she and Addison were more than friends, they invited TikToker over for lunch. That turned out to be a full ambush, featuring Kourtney's ex-boyfriend Scott Disick, who participated in the awkward interrogation.
At one point, Scott openly asked Addison if she and Kourtney were hooking up, a question that made the 20-year-old burst out into uncontrollable laughter. As if that wasn't an answer in itself, she also explicitly denied there was anything romantic going on.
In the end, Kourtney took her sisters' prying pretty well, saying she understood their "curiosity," especially given the age difference between the two.
Still, the eldest Kardashian holds fast to her friendship with the social media starlet: it's all about "energy," not the age.
