"The first season, I had a major crush on Jen," Schwimmer revealed.

And to make things even better: it seems like their feelings were mutual!

"It was reciprocated," Aniston replied.

"I remember saying at one point to David, 'It's going to be such a bummer if the first time you and I actually kiss is … on national television! Sure enough, the first time we kissed was in that coffee shop."

However, even though they were both crushing hard, it never worked out.

Friends: The Reunion finally premiered on Thursday! Here you can watch the trailer.

Schwimmer and Aniston's co-stars were not surprised

"It was like two ships passing [in the night]," Schwimmer admitted. "One of us was always in a relationship."

It seems like they simply channeled all of their adoration for each other into their characters.

Despite their efforts to keep things Platonic behind the camera, the two still struggled with keeping their hands off each other.

"There were moments we would cuddle on a couch," Schwimmer shared to which Aniston teasingly added, "We would spoon and fall asleep on the couch."

This confession came as no surprise to their Friends co-stars. Courtney Cox and Matthew Perry confirmed that they were well aware of Aniston's and Schwimmer's feelings for one another.
