On Thursday, the former athlete did an exclusive interview on The View where she discussed her run for the Governor of California.

The interview comes on the same day as the very last episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians is set to air.

During the intense conversation, the reality star was asked by Joy Behar if she agreed with other Republicans that Donald Trump won the presidential election in November.

Caitlyn notably avoided the question and replied, "I'm not going to get into that. That election is over."

Joy, who is a staunch liberal, scoffed at the politician's remarks, indicating she didn't believe her.

The host has gotten into murky water with respect to Jenner and her political aspirations before. In April, she apologized for repeatedly misusing Jenner's pronouns when discussing her gubernatorial run on the show.

"Don’t sweat it, @JoyVBehar," Jenner tweeted at the time as she accepted Joy's olive branch.

Yet on Thursday, as both of them started to get heated during the interview, Whoopi Goldberg cut the argument short before it could go any further – since we all know Joy isn't the type to back down easily.

Other points brought up throughout the interview were Caityln's disagreement with trans girls competing in women's sports and her hiring of ex-members of Donald's staff.

Caitlyn announced her bid for the governor's seat in April.

The 71-year-old also made a brief appearance on the final season of KUWTK where she asked her former spouse, Kris Jenner, for business advice.

Kris, the family's momager, is said to finally address her relationship with Caitlyn in the upcoming KUTWK two-part reunion.

Following Kris and Caitlyn's demise and divorce, the Olympic gold-medalist released her memoir, The Secrets of My Life, which spilled private details that Kris wasn't quite comfortable being made public.

Yet, the two are said to be amicable, as of now.

Caitlyn's relationships with all the Kardashians are rumored to still be strained since she opted to run for governor.

Will Caitlyn Jenner's political views continue to land her in hot water?
