Bachelor in Paradise: Thomas enters paradise to push some buttons and steal some hearts
Sayulita, Mexico – With more guys arriving in paradise, no relationship is safe.
It's not Bachelor in Paradise without divisive new additions showing up on the daily, and who better to cause some chaos than Thomas jacobs.
Moments before his arrival, Tre Cooper, Karl Smith, and Aaron Clancy were going off about their utter distaste for Thomas, saying him showing up would force them into a "state of active rage and anxiousness."
With a date card in his hand, the rage was real towards Thomas when he walked down the stairs into Paradise.
The manipulative mastermind from Katie Thurston's season of the Bachelor pulled each woman aside one-by-one, and ended up asking Serena Pitt out on a date.
Though she has been linked to grocery store Joe since day one in paradise, it didn't stop Serena Pitt from exploring her options with a tall, buff man.
But given the amount of whispers and rumors swirling around paradise about Thomas' intentions and sneaky ways, Serena wasn't sure she wanted to get involved in the drama, telling him he should probably see other people.
Not to mention, Thomas totally threw Tre under the bus on his date with Serena, telling her he was emotionally immature and needed help.
Damage Control at its finest
After Serena's jarring confrontation with Thomas, he took the initiative to pull all the guys from his season aside in efforts to make amends, or possibly just to get them to stop running their mouths to the women.
In efforts to rehabilitate his public image in paradise, Thomas owned up to his deceitful ways and numerous lies to each person from Katie's season of the Bachelorette.
You almost want to respect Thomas for attempting to make amends with those he's wronged, and his charming ways surely help his case. But every word he uttered, particularly to Tre, was all for naught after Serena revealed what Thomas had said about Tre's lack of emotional maturity.
As his current ride-or-die, Tahzjuan Hawkins felt compelled to fill Tre in on this new development, and to say he didn't take it well would be an understatement.
When Tre pulled Thomas aside, it created a serious case of déjà vu for those who tuned into season 17 of the Bachelorette. A particular highlight was the confessional in which he accused Thomas of "trash bag behavior".
With the women handing out roses at the next rose ceremony, Thomas must get crafty to win someone's love and affection as to secure another day in paradise
