Bachelor in Paradise: The final "smoke bro" breaks the wrong heart and gets shunned by everyone
Sayulita, Mexico – The last standing "smoke bro" on Bachelor in Paradise showed his savage side the second a new woman arrived, setting off a chain reaction of heartbreak, meltdowns, and a shocking departure.
Chris Conran, the one-and-only "smoke bro" left on the beach, successfully made the most cringe-worthy switch up of the season when he ditched Jessenia Cruz moments after Alana Milne arrived in Paradise.
There are infinite amounts of ways he could've approached the situation, but instead of being a mature adult and simply talking to Jessenia, he decided to make out with his new flame right in front of her face.
Rumors started spreading about the possibility of Chris and Alana dating outside the show and scheming through rose ceremonies until the other arrived. This is nearly identical to the stunt Pieper James and Brendan Morais pulled – clout-chasing and all.
Not only were the others in Paradise whispering about their potential prior relationship, many were talking about how Chris was showing Jessenia fake love just for screen time just to increase his following on social media.
For some reason, it was unfathomable to Alana that everyone on the beach was pretty much against her after she shamelessly broke Jessenia's heart the night before.
An all-too-familiar ploy for fame is revealed
But why try to solve a problem when you can just run away from it? That's exactly what Chris decided was best, and he tried to get Alana to follow him home, despite the fact she had shown up to Mexico one day prior.
Realizing that a free vacation was on the line, Alana had no choice but to dramatically break down in tears, blaming him for the situation she ultimately put herself in.
In a not-so-shocking plot twist, both Chris and Alana packed their bags to leave Paradise, but when Chris opened the door of their airport ride and saw Alana sitting there, she immediately demanded he get out of her car.
Notably missing for nearly the entire episode were Brendan and Pieper, who pulled the same stunt as Chris and Alana, but got much less flack for it.
Thankfully for Bachelor Nation and Natasha Parker's sake, all signs point to them being called out by everyone next week on Bachelor in Paradise.
