Bachelor in Paradise: Hurricane Salley hits as a season 8 alum returns for "unfinished business"
Sayulita, Mexico - Hurricane Salley finally made landfall on Bachelor in Paradise, but that wasn't he only plot twist producers had in store for the fifth episode of season 8.
Though Salley Carson's suitcase has been in Paradise since the second episode, she arrived on Tuesday night, though her journey didn't go as she'd hoped.
But because Monday was so boring, we're not totally mad that she showed up only to cause a scene within the hour and leave after a melodramatic mic drop moment.
For those who weren't aware of the hookups taking place prior to BIP's filming, Justin Glaze and Salley made out at Stagecoach music festival, something Genevieve Parisi made sure to tell everyone on the beach upon her arrival.
Unfortunately for Salley, Genevieve already had a preexisting jealous bone to pick with her, leading her and Shanae Ankney to embark on operation take Salley down by catching her in a lie.
It was at that moment that the infamous question of the Bachelor franchise was finally asked: Is Salley "here for the right reasons"?
James was correct when he said Salley wasn't setting herself up for much success by trying to dodge questions about her dating life and the hang-up on her ex-fiancé while on a dating show. However, it ended
With Salley's departure came Pizza Peter's arrival, which was anything but helpful to the six men without roses.
An unsuspecting favorite couple emerges as another exits Paradise
But another weirdo couple has emerged with Jacob Rapini and Jill Chin linking up and becoming the fascination of pretty much everyone else on the beach.
After a cringe date with Peter where she had to dodge a kiss attempt that was so uncalled-for it's actually baffling, Brittany Galvin pulled a total 180 and locked lips with Andrew Spencer. And though this is a couple we didn't see coming, it's hard to have anything but love for some of the most.
Even though Jill's one-on-one with Jacob went as well as a tantric breathing date in a foreign country can go, nothing is ever guaranteed in Paradise, which was proven with the unexpected return of Kira Mengistu who was back to finish some "business" with the so-called Tarzan man.
But, Jacob shocked Bachelor Nation by actually doing the right thing and once again sending Kira packing, while declaring that Jill is his number one. We can't explain why, but we have no choice but to ship these two.
All of a sudden, Kira took her unfinished business to her estranged fling Romeo, and somehow, after the longest pause in television history, convinced him to leave the sands of Paradise. Hey, more power to them.
With the ladies' rose ceremony on the horizon, anything could happen when Bachelor in Paradise returns on October 17 at 8 PM ET.
