Meghan Markle gets birthday wishes from the Royals and gives peak into million-dollar mansion
Montecito, California - Meghan Markle received a lot of birthday love from the royals, despite the recent family drama!
The duchess has just celebrated a huge milestone!
On Wednesday, Meghan elegantly turned 40 and was showered with birthday wishes from her royal in-laws.
Queen Elizabeth II, Prince William, Kate Middleton, and Prince Charles and Camilla all sent well-wishes via their official Twitter accounts.
"Wishing The Duchess of Sussex a very Happy Birthday today!" the royal family wrote on their account, which represents Queen Elizabeth II and Buckingham Palace.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge followed suit by posting, "Wishing a happy 40th birthday to The Duchess of Sussex!"
Meghan's father-in-law and his wife shared similar sentiments.
The British royals' warm wishes followed the recent drama that ensued after Prince Harry and Meghan gave a very telling interview with Oprah Winfrey.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex detailed their reasons for the leaving the monarchy, as well alleged racist behavior towards the mom of two.
The spouses' tell-all led to some uneasy tensions between Prince Harry and Prince William — but it's good to see that the family still has a lot of love for Meghan!
The now 40-year-old celebrated her birthday by virtually announcing her 40x40 initiative – where viewers got a rare glimpse into her $14 million Montecito mansion.
The launch, which she announced through a video on her Archwell Foundation's website, encouraged people to commit 40 minutes of their time to support women going back to work.
The duchess rang in the news with comedian Melissa McCarthy, who hilariously sported "tea-time" attire — which included a very large hat, pearls and gloves.
The two ladies were then interrupted by the prince, who crashed the party by attempting to juggle for his wife with sunglasses on.
All in all, it looks the duchess had a wonderful birthday. 40 never looked better!
