Tough crowd: Macklemore's new music gets hilarious review from his daughter

Los Angeles, California - From the mouths of babes! It appears that rapper Macklemore has his harshest critic sitting at his own kitchen table.

Macklemore rose to fame with songs like Thrift Shop, Can't Hold Us, and Glorious, but that hasn't stopped his daughter Sloane (r.) from throwing some shade.

The 38-year-old shared an Instagram video on Wednesday that hilariously puts the rapper dad in his place.

In the clip, six-year-old Sloane sits in the kitchen wearing headphones and listens to Macklemore's new song Best Year, which is set to be released on Friday.

She gives her honest critique with a few eye rolls and throws the shade of a teenager.

"Not your best, but I still love ya," Sloane says.

While sipping some hot cocoa with lots of playful attitude, she nonchalantly asks, "Is this really your best rapping?"

She even makes suggestions for improvement.

"Did you ask Taylor Swift to get on this song?" she asks. "Adele wasn't feeling this?"

"Adele and Taylor Swift would be great," she adds.

"I [use] to think I was my own worst critic…Then I had kids" the rapper captioned the video.

His daughter now has her own slew of fans, and the post has already been liked over 500,000 times.

"She is an icon," wrote one commenter. "Future Rolling Stone journalist," commented another.

At the end of the clip, Sloane finally delivers some praise for the new music with a bit of sarcastic humor: "I think it's really good."

We're not sure if we believe her.

Best Year is out on Friday.

Macklemore, whose real name is Ben Haggerty, rose to fame with songs like Thrift Shop, Can't Hold Us, and Glorious. He has three children with his wife Tricia.

His second daughter Colette Koala was born in March 2018, and son Hugo Jack was born last July.

But his oldest, Sloane, appears to be stealing the show.
