Tom Morello accidentally tackled during Rage Against the Machine concert
Toronto, Canada - Guitarist Tom Morello of the band Rage Against the Machine was accidentally tackled by security in the middle of their show in a wild video.
The incident took place during the band's set on Saturday at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada. A clip shared to social media shows a crazy fan rush from offstage in Morello's direction as the band perform their hit Killing In the Name.
A security guard can also be seen running at full speed from the opposite direction to intercept the fan, but he accidentally rams into Morello instead, knocking the rock star off the stage.
Singer Zach De La Rocha reportedly brought the show to a halt, making sure his guitarist was ok. Fortunately, Morello was unharmed and ready to rock on.
"Scary stuff! Could have hurt him bad," a Twitter user who shared a video of the incident from another angle said. "Tom came back on stage and tore the roof off."
"Whoever the f**k gets wise like that, don’t try that s**t again!" De La Rocha warned anyone else in the crowd thinking of bum rushing the stage.
Rage Against the Machine performed together for the first time in 11 years earlier this month, kicking off their Public Service Announcement tour alongside Run the Jewels.
