Halloween is quickly approaching and there's tons of new music to get you pumped and ready for the festivities!
So what can you expect this week?
In terms of albums, there's a variety of different genres to look forward to from favorite artists including Duran Duran, In This Moment, James Blunt, King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, Maisie Peters, Mariah the Scientist, Mr. Eazi, Poppy, Samara Joy, and Taylor Swift.

- Duran Duran - Danse Macabre - October 27
New wave band Duran Duran is set to release their sixteenth studio album, called Danse Macabre, on Friday.
The Halloween-themed album has 13 tracks - the perfect number to keep with the spookiness - and will feature original songs and covers including Talking Heads' Psycho Killer and Billie Eilish's Bury a Friend, per AP News.
- In This Moment - GODMODE - October 27
On Friday, rock band In This Moment is gearing up to release their eighth studio album, GODMODE.
According to Blabbermouth, singer Maria Brink and guitarist Chris Howarth spoke on what to expect from their album, and said some songs came from their own personal experiences during the 2020 pandemic lockdown.
"It was such a crazy time. Our band, like everything else, was stopped in its tracks."
- James Blunt - Who We Used To Be (Deluxe) - October 27
English singer and songwriter James Blunt is dropping a deluxe version of his highly-regarded album, Who We Used To Be, on Friday.
Blunt's official website reveals the new version of the album will feature four new songs.
- King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard - The Silver Cord - October 27
On Friday, Australian psychedelic-rock band King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard will release their 25th studio album, The Silver Cord.
- Maisie Peters - The Good Witch (Deluxe) - October 27
Rising pop star Maisie Peters is releasing a deluxe version of her long-awaited second studio album, The Good Witch, on Friday.
The new version is set to feature 6 new songs titled Holy Revival, Yoko, The Song, Guy On a Horse, Truth Is, and The Last One, according to the singer's post on X, formerly known as Twitter.
- Mariah the Scientist - To Be Eaten Alive - October 27
Mariah Amani Buckles, known professionally by her stage name Mariah the Scientist, is releasing a new album called To Be Eaten Alive.
In an interview with Complex, the artist shared the inspiration behind the title and songs of her upcoming album.
"My goal was to make the best possible music," she said. "I wasn't looking for it to be too R&B-ish because I don't wanna be stuck in this one category."
The album features collaborations with artists like Kaytranada, Vory, and her current rumored boo Young Thug.
- Mr Eazi - The Evil Genius - October 27
On Friday, Nigerian singer and songwriter Mr Eazi is dropping his first album, The Evil Genius.
The album covers a wide variety of styles and influences from Afropop to hiplife and more.
- Poppy - Zig - October 27
Poppy, born Moriah Rose Pereira, is releasing her fifth studio album Zig on Friday, which strays from her previous pop sounds.
According to AP News, the album doesn't have a set genre, as it covers a variety of styles from dark pop to techno.
- Samara Joy - A Joyful Holiday - October 27
Double Grammy-winning jazz singer Samara Joy is dropping a festive album entitled A Joyful Holiday on Friday, which features six songs.
The release serves as an extension of her latest album Linger Awhile, per udiscovermusic.
- Taylor Swift - 1989 (Taylor's Version) - October 27
Swifties, we know you already know this, but just in case...
Taylor Swift is dropping a re-recorded version of her fourth studio album, 1989 (Taylor's Version), after losing the rights to her master recordings.

In addition to the albums listed above, we also have a few new singles on our radar coming out this week.
On Monday, voice actor NateWantsToBattle and singer Kellin Quinn released a collaborative single called FVKD, which "explores themes of mental health, self-acceptance, and the struggles of feeling neurologically atypical," per Freshers Live.
Rock band Green Day released their newest single called The American Dream Is Killing Me on Tuesday. The single will appear on the band's upcoming album entitled Saviors, which comes out early next year. The band also unveiled a film noir style black and white music video featuring the band in a zombie apocalypse – perfect for spooky season.
Lastly, on Wednesday, indie rock artist Eliza McLamb will release her newest single, previously teased on YouTube, titled anything you want. The TikTok-famous singer is currently touring with rock bands Last Dinosaurs and Vacations on TOURZILLA.
