Music release radar: Albums and singles dropping during the week of January 16
It's a new week in music, and that means new drops from some of today's hottest artists like Måneskin, The Kid LAROI, and more. See what releases are on TAG24's radar for the week of January 16.
We're pretty sure that new music drops make the world go-'round, and this week's releases are definitely heavy on good vibes and good times.
Regardless of what genre you're into, there's bound to be a new song or album up your alley. With a new album coming from alt-rock band Måneskin, an EP from up-and-comer Genevieve Stokes, and a newly announced project from Trippie Redd, the week of January 16 is giving diversity, and we're about it.
After all, Fall Out Boy's return to the music scene is set for Wednesday, Arlo Parks may even drop a new song on the same day, and The Kid LAROI's new single is also on the way, too.
With so many drops, it's easy to lose track of what's debuting and when. Here are the music release dates on our radar for the week of January 16–22.
Albums: Måneskin, Mac DeMarco, Trippie Redd, Genevieve Stokes, and Lukas Graham
- Måneskin - RUSH!
On Friday, Italian rock band Måneskin will release their third studio album, titled RUSH! The record is set to include the band's recently released song Gossip featuring the legendary Tom Morello.
- Mac DeMarco - Five Easy Hot Dogs
Also due on Friday is indie singer-songwriter Mac DeMarco's album, Five Easy Hot Dogs. The project is an album of instrumentals that he recorded on a trip from Los Angeles to a cabin in Utah.
Speaking of the album in a press release, DeMarco said, Some places I stayed longer in than others, some of them I knew from the past, others not so much. I tried to keep things busy all the time. If I didn’t know what was up in a city, I’d just walk around ‘til someone recognized me and go from there. I met a lot of interesting people this way, and had a bunch of cool experiences."
- Trippie Redd - Mansion Musik
Trippie Redd is releasing a surprise album on Friday called Mansion Musik. The rapper confirmed the 25-track album on Monday, which is set to include features from artists like Future, Lil Baby, Juice WRLD, and Travis Scott amongst others.
- Genevieve Stokes - Catching Rabbits
On Friday, singer-songwriter Genevieve Stokes will release her new EP titled Catching Rabbits. The project will include the previously released song, Can I. Speaking of the EP, Stokes told Rolling Stone, "I think it reflects a change in my connection to reality and the relationships in my life."
- Lukas Graham - 4 (The Pink Album)
Grammy-nominated pop band Lukas Graham is back with another full-length album, titled 4 (The Pink Album) on Friday. The 11-track record includes features from Khalid and G-Eazy.
The album will include the previously released song with Mickey Guyton called Home Movies.

In addition to full-length albums, there are a few songs that should be on your radar this week.
First and foremost is Fall Out Boy's first single in five years, Love From The Other Side, which is due on Wednesday.
Arlo Parks is also expected to drop new music this week, though the artist has yet to officially confirm a song title or specific release date. However, word on the street is that the release is slated for Wednesday.
Rebecca Black is also expected to drop a new song called Sick To My Stomach on Wednesday, while The Kid LAROI is slated to release his new single, THE FIRST SONG, on Thursday.
