Those attending either weekend of Austin City Limits music festival in October will witness Marcus perform in a manner they've never seen him before: solo.

That's right – Mumford & Sons' lead singer is stepping out on his own for the first time, and he's making a stop deep in the heart of Texas.

According to an email from ACL Festival, those hitting up Zilker Park for weekend one or two of the fest "will be among the first to see [Marcus'] brand-new solo project performed live."

Mumford & Sons previously played ACL Fest in 2016 and 2019, but commanding a stage as a solo artist will offer a much different experience for the 35-year-old musician.

Marcus' addition is one of several that have been announced since ACL Fest dropped its initial lineup in May. Artists like Tai Verdes, Death Cab for Cutie, and Culture Club, the Ventures, and Adrian Quesada of the Black Pumas were recently added, too.

Though Marcus has yet to release any solo music, we're definitely keeping our eyes and ears peeled for some drops soon!
