Grammy Awards 2023: First performers revealed with a first-timer in the mix!
Los Angeles, California - The first round of Grammy performers have been announced, and this year's award show will be star-studded as ever with a first-timer hitting the stage!
The 65th Annual Grammy Awards are upon us, and the Recording Academy just rolled out the first group of performers for music's biggest night.
Taking the stage at this year's show at Crypto.com Arena will be current nominees Bad Bunny, Lizzo, Steve Lacy, four-time Grammy winner Sam Smith, nine-time Grammy winner Mary J. Blige, six-time Grammy winner Brandi Carlile, country singer Luke Combs, and the iconic Kim Petras.
All but one of the newly announced performers have hit the Grammy stage. However, Kim Petras will be making her Grammy stage debut at the 65th Grammy Awards, and we're here for it!
Two-time Grammy winner Bad Bunny has three nominations: Album Of The Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, and Best Música Urbana Album. Blige is up for six awards: Record Of The Year, Album Of The Year, Best R&B Performance, Best Traditional R&B Performance, Best R&B Song, and Best R&B Album.
Carlile has seven noms: Record Of The Year, Album Of The Year, Best Rock Performance, Best Rock Song, Best Americana Performance, Best American Roots Song, and Best Americana Album. Combs is up for three Grammys: Best Country Duo/Group Performance, Best Country Song, and Best Country Album.
Steve Lacy has four nominations: Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, and Best Progressive R&B Album. Three-time Grammy winner Lizzo is nominated for five awards: Record Of The Year, Album Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, and Best Pop Vocal Album.
Smith and first-time nominee Petras are up for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for their song, Unholy.
The 65th Grammy Awards will take place on February 5 at 8 PM ET on CBS.
