The song, titled Radhe Shaam, was penned by Suresh Joshi.

The 75-year-old journalist introduced the Beatles to the late Indian yoga guru Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, the Beatles Museum in Liverpool said on Wednesday.

In the late 1960s, the bandmates were inspired by the guru and even traveled to India for lessons from him.

The newly discovered recording, which features Harrison on guitar and Starr on drums, was released Wednesday.

Proceeds from the track's sales will go to charity, the release said.

"The song itself revolves around the concept that we are all one, and that the world is our oyster. [That is] something that we have all realized during this pandemic," Joshi explained on Wednesday.

Though the song is 50 years old, it couldn't feel anymore current.
