Will Black Panther: Wakanda Forever feature a main character's death?
The early reviews for the Marvel movie Black Panther: Wakanda Forever have all but warned fans to prepare for major a lot of water works, does this mean there will be a huge character death?
Since Marvel likes to pull on its fans' heartstrings - ahem, like the most recent Spider-Man flick - it's safe to assume that a shocking death may occur in the upcoming Black Panther sequel.
The anticipated film has received overwhelmingly positive early reviews, which has heightened fans' excitement.
Many of the first reactions have hailed the Marvel film as the best film of the year.
At the same time, many are warning fans that Wakanda Forever will be an emotional rollercoaster.
Since there's still some time to prepare for what's ahead for the heroes of Wakanda, here are a few guesses as to who unfortunately may not survive the impending battle.
Which character might die in Wakanda Forever?
The recurring emphasis on the gut-wrenching storyline has fans concerned over which character won't make it amid the Wakandians' war against their new nemesis, Namor.
Fans have already been warned that the upcoming superhero flick will honor the late Chadwick Boseman's passing in a way that's significant to the movie.
Therefore, it's safe to assume that it won't just be Wakanda losing its protector that will have audiences in wells of tears.
There's also talk that the new baddie, played by Tenoch Huerta, is downright terrifying and a formidable foe.
Who may be the unfortunate character making their exit from the Black Panther franchise?
All signs seem to sadly point towards Angela Basset's Queen Ramonda.
Hear us out: the widowed Queen will probably be the current ruler of the fictional country, and thus will play a much larger role in the sequel due to the death of King T'Challa.
Who will carry the Black Panther legacy?
But it seems logical that her daughter, Princess Shuri played by Letitia Wright, may be the one to continue the Black Panther legacy.
Though T'Challa's death will surely have profound effect on the brilliant princess, it would make most sense that her mother's death is what pushes Shuri to don the black suit.
Of course, this is just a speculation as no one is ever truly safe in Marvel movies. But if this prediction turns out to be true, fans were warned!
