The Midnight Club is based on the book series of the same name that follows a group of young hospice patients that pass the time by telling sinister ghost stories.

Horror fans are in for a treat as Nightmare on Elm Street alum Heather Langenkamp will star in the show as the creepy doctor that runs the place.

Nothing ever good comes from teens reciting scary tales, so this new show is sure to be worth the watch!

Though Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki won't be back for the upcoming prequel, Ackles is heavily involved in the dark fantasy series – so that's a plus!

The series is still set in the Supernatural world, and since the show will focus on the backstory of Dean and Sam's parents, Mary and John, there's sure to be a lot of love – as well as a lot of demons they'll have to slay.

The Winchesters debuts on the CW on October 11.
