The drool-worthy abs are making a comeback!

It seems that Tatum and his famously toned frame will be taking one more dance across the big screen and will soon shake up the "stripperverse."

The actor took to his social media on Monday to reveal that the third and apparently final installment of the Magic Mike franchise is in the works.

"Well world, looks like Mike Lane’s tapping back in," the 41-year-old wrote in Twitter and Instagram posts, referencing his character Lane who is a stripper – much to the delight of legions of female admirers across the world.

He shared an image of the script's title, which unveiled the new movie's title as Magic Mike's Last Dance.

It revealed that the franchise's third installment is written by Reid Carolin, who also authored the original 2012 film and 2015's sequel, Magic Mike XXL. It also showed the new flick will be directed by Steven Soderbergh, who helmed the first film.

Tatum tagged HBO Max in his announcement, but it is unclear if the film will go directly to the streaming service or when a release date will be set.

"There are no words for how excited I am to blow the doors off of the world of Magic Mike ... The stripperverse will never be the same," Tatum said in a statement.

The popular movie franchise has grossed over $300 million at the box office and become a pop culture staple. It has inspired live stage shows worldwide and a multi-year North American tour set to begin in April. It has also spawned the upcoming reality show Finding Magic Mike, which debuts on HBO Max in December.

Casting for the final film is yet to be announced, although singer Lenny Kravitz joked in September that he's up for the job. Tatum is dating his daughter Zoë Kravitz.

"I’m just trying to get in the next Magic Mike," he replied to Tatum in an Instagram comment. "Any connections?"

Now that it's clear Tatum will definitely be involved in the film, perhaps he can pull some strings for his prospective father-in-law.

Regardless of whoever else joins the cast, fans are giddy for a grand finale of washboard abs to come!
