Spider-man: No Way Home trailer supercharges rumors of mind-blowing crossover!
The second trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home is here and fans are already freaking about a the huge revelations it teases!
"You're not Peter Parker."
Those four chilling words got fans' heads spinning after the release of the newest Spider-man trailer.
The long-awaited teaser not only gave fans a deeper glance at what's in store, but also confirmed the return of several key villains from the past.
The first trailer solidified the return of Otto Octavius aka Doc Ock, played by Alfred Molina in 2004's Spider-Man 2, and the Green Goblin, portrayed by William Dafoe in the original trilogy.
It also looks like Tom Holland's Peter Parker will have to battle a few more of Spidey's enemies from the previous franchises.
Thomas Haden Church’s Sandman from Spider-Man 3 (2007), Rhys Ifans’ the Lizard from The Amazing Spider-Man (2012), and Jamie Foxx’s Electro from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014) will also appear in the upcoming Marvel flick.
With so many villains for the young Peter to battle, fans continue to speculate that the long-standing rumors of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield returning are true.
Will Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield join the list?
Tobey and Andrew weren't in the latest trailer, yet the presence of all of their former foes does beg the question over the two stars possibly appearing in the movie.
While neither has confirmed that they will be in No Way Home, the idea isn't far-fetched, especially since the multiverse has opened up a world of possibilities.
Tom Holland previously hinted that the crossover could happen. During a global fan event in Los Angeles to launch the No Way Home trailer, the British star teased just how crazy the action flick will be.
"We were there on the day making it happen, and it was crazy – and I would love to tell you," he shared, adding that when he read the script for the movie, "I was like, ‘That’s never going to work. There’s no way you’re going to be able to get that done.’ And they did."
The 25-year-old also said of the latest trailer, "Trust me when I say that that is the tip of the iceberg."
Spider-man: No Way Home hits theaters on December 17.
