Mega-fan pays Harry Potter stars to brutally roast him in hilarious video messages

Plymouth, UK - Brett Ball is a devoted fan of the Harry Potter movies. So devoted, it seems, that he is willing to pay a lot of money just to have the franchise's stars roast him on Cameo!

Brett Ball is a Harry Potter fanatic. His videos on TikTok are all devoted to analysis and praise of J.K. Rowling's beloved franchise.

At some point Brett figured out that he could take his adoration to the next level and gain a lot more followers on the way by pleading with the eight-part film series' stars to brutally roast him.

His idea turned out better than he expected, though judging by some of the videos, he may regret getting what he wished for.

Starting out with a small budget, Brett turned to Cameo, where for a set fee, a user can request a short, personalized video message from their favorite celebrity.

The clips average about thirty seconds and usually feature birthday greetings or shout-outs. As Brett learned, the stars are also free to reject your request for a video, as his request to be roasted was rejected by at least four different Harry Potter actors.

It's the requests that weren't rejected that has TikTok users in peals of laughter.

His request has turned out far better, and worse, than he could have imagined

Some of the actors enjoyed their cruel task a bit too much. James Payton, who plays Neville Longbottom's dad, Frank, sent him a mammoth, six-and-a-half- minute video at no extra charge.

Most of the clips Brett has received are full of snubs, jeers, and sarcastic remarks delivered completely in character, as if Brett was a wizard gone bad.

Fans of Brett and of Harry Potter were especially pleased when James and Oliver Phelps, who played the Weasley twins, Fred and George, did their homework for their roast. The pair had looked up Brett's Twitter and dating app profiles, and teased him mercilessly for how boring his life must be.

Brett's roastings became so popular that he was offered a sponsorship by the app he uses to subtitle his videos. It's probably the only way he could afford to keep ask some of the stars for videos. Tom Felton, aka Draco Malfoy, charges a whopping $588 for a single video but has yet to respond to Brett.

He's been successfully roasted by seven characters so far, but the latest, by Miriam Margolyes – the kindly Professor Sprout – insulted his intelligence, body, and his sexuality.

Fans are eagerly awaiting the next installment in his series and hope that some of the bigger actors will get onboard for some Brett bashing!
