Zombieland's Jesse Eisenberg hopes his son doesn't take after him
Los Angeles, California - Actor Jesse Eisenberg says he hopes his son takes after his wife more than he takes after himself.
"I was just praying – probably like a lot of parents do – please don't have all the things that I have and hate about myself," the 39-year-old said on the Today show.
"I'm afraid of my child becoming independent, but at the same time I'm so grateful when he develops different personality traits than I do."
According to People, Eisenberg's son with his wife Anna Strout is five years old.
Little is known about the couple's relationship, other than the fact they met on the set of The Emperor's Club in 2002 where Strout worked as part of the crew. They soon fell in love, and ended up getting married in 2017.
"I married a great woman," Eisenberg explained. "I always pray, just be like her, just be like her, please be completely like her. And for the most part, he's evolving in that direction."
The actor became internationally known primarily for his roles in the horror comedy film, Zombieland, and for portraying Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg in The Social Network.
