Ye reveals he's seeking help after skipping the Grammys
Las Vegas, Nevada - Kanye "Ye" West skipped out on Grammys after he told his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, that he was going away to seek help.
On Sunday, the rapper, who was banned from performing at the 2022 Grammys, also decided to skip out on the festivities.
That, to be frank, was probably for the best as everyone is still recovering from Will Smith's Oscar's slapping incident.
Ye's nonattendance followed a Page Six report detailing that the rapper was "going away to get help."
On Friday, the outlet shared that the 44-year-old told Kim he would be seeking treatment and wouldn't be "making any public appearances or inflammatory social media statements."
A rep for the billionaire revealed that Ye is "committed to a healthy co-parenting relationship with Kim and is focused on raising their beautiful children."
While there hasn't been an update on if Ye has entered a treatment facility, the rapper scored two Grammys at Sunday's event for Best Rap Song for the song Jail and Best Melodic Rap Performance for Hurricane.
The Donda artist was banned from performing at the annual ceremony following his concerning online behavior.
Last month, Ye was kicked off of Instagram for spewing racist remarks to Trevor Noah and continuing his violent harassment towards Pete Davidson.
Meanwhile Ye's current rumored girlfriend, Instagram model Chaney Jones, celebrated his win on her IG story and also posted what appears to be a pricey gift from the rapper.
Jones posted a snap of a silver Birkin bag and roses with the caption, "Thanks bb @kanyewest."
At least Ye knows how to spoil his ladies with Birkin bags when he's not hurling insults and attacks at people via social media.
