Will Smith and family stun at first red carpet appearance since Oscar slap
Los Angeles, California - Will Smith and his family shut down the red carpet at the premiere for the Oscar-winner's upcoming movie, Emancipation.
The 58-year-old Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star was supported by the whole Smith crew on Wednesday at the LA premiere for his next flick.
Will was all smiles on the red carpet as he was surrounded by his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, the couples' two adult children, Jaden and Willow, plus eldest son Trey, whom Will shares with his ex-wife Sheree Zampino.
The Grammy-winner sported a burgundy tuxedo with a soft-pink undershirt, while his loved ones coordinated with his ensemble by also sporting neutral colors.
Jada Pinkett Smith looked breathtaking in a white, oversized turtleneck dress with matching jewelry, while her daughter and son wore black ensembles.
Also in attendance was Jada's mother and Red Table Talk cohost Adrienne Banfield-Norris.
Could Will Smith make a comeback?
The family affair was the first public outing in a long time, as they've each maintained a low-profile following Will Smith's controversial Oscars slap.
In the months following the shocking moment when the I Am Legend star struck Chris Rock at this year's Academy Awards, Will faced massive backlash on top of a 10-year ban from the annual ceremony.
But his latest film has sparked Oscar buzz, which poses the questions over his ban being lifted or at least lessened.
There's already been a lot of chat about whether the world should move on from the drama.
