Trey Songz named in Las Vegas sexual assault investigation!
Las Vegas, Nevada - The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department are investigating singer Trey Songz's possible involvement in an alleged sexual assault incident.
According to People, the authorities on Sunday received "a report of a sexual assault incident alleged to have occurred at a hotel in the 3700 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard."
While there have been no specific details shared about what occurred, Trey, whose real name is Tremaine Neverson, was named in the report.
Currently, the department's sex crimes division is investigating the event.
"Neverson is cooperating with the investigation. At this time, no arrests have been made," the statement given to the outlet concluded.
The singer has not addressed the matter, but this wouldn't be the first allegation of this kidn made against him.
Last year, Trey denied the sexual misconduct accusation of a young woman, who claimed the artist wouldn't let her leave his hotel room and that he urinated on her without her consent.
In 2017, actor Keke Palmer accused the Can't Help But Wait singer of using "sexual intimidation" to make her appear in the music video for the song Pick Up the Phone. At the time, Trey also denied the Hustlers star's claims and addressed the allegations on social media.
"Babygirl buggin. Point blank period. Got my number, coulda called, saw the cameras and the lights, heard action," the Say Aah singer wrote.
