Trevor Noah and Minka Kelly are "officially over"
New York, New York - Trevor Noah and Minka Kelly have reportedly broken up for good this time, after two years of dating.
According to People, a source close to Kelly confirmed the news, stating, "Minka is single now."
"She is very happy. She'd rather be single than waste her time with the wrong guy," they added.
The celebrity couple began dating in September 2020 and has managed to keep things fairly private. A source told the outlet at the time that the two were in "a very serious relationship."
"They're making plans for a future together, and it's a very stable relationship," the source spilled. "They've been spending time between coasts over the last year and had been looking for a place in LA as a couple."
In 2021, The Daily Show host bought a Bel Air home to share with Kelly, a mansion worth $27.5 million.
Trevor Noah and Minka Kelly have reportedly called it off before
In May 2021, the two reportedly called it quits, only to be seen in public together shortly after, fueling rumors that they were working things out.
In January 2022, the Euphoria actor shared a photo with Noah and friends on a trip to South Africa, where the host is from. It remains the only social media post showing the two together.
Now, another source has confirmed that they are "officially over," speculating that Noah was "too focused on work and didn't have enough time for a relationship."
This year, the comedian hosted both the Grammy Awards and the White House Correspondence Dinner, in addition to continuing to host The Daily Show.
Hopefully the break up wasn't a messy one, and they both can continue creating great work.
