Travis Scott books first US headlining gig since Astroworld tragedy
Las Vegas, Nevada – Travis Scott just landed his first US headlining gig at a music festival, marking his first headlining gig since 10 people were killed at Astroworld in November 2021.
Scott is gearing up to make his grand music festival return after being named a headliner for Day N Vegas festival, which is slated to take place at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds.
The fest takes place over Labor Day Weekend from September 2-4.
Other artists on the lineup include headliners in SZA and J. Cole, as well as Summer Walker, Playboi Carti, H.E.R., 21 Savage, Baby Keem, Jhené Aiko, Vince Staples, Trippie Redd, Jorja Smith, Pusha T, Aminé, City Girls, T-Pain, and many more.
The rapper has been staying under the radar since the tragedy that unfolded at his Astroworld music festival, where 10 people were killed after the crowd surged during Scott's headline performance.
Since then, numerous lawsuits have piled up against Scott and Live Nation, the event's promoter.
The 31-year-old Houston native was recently slammed with a separate lawsuit for allegedly inciting crowd violence during his set at Rolling Loud Music Festival in 2019.
