Travis Barker's hospitalization reportedly stems from recent procedure
Los Angeles, California - New details have emerged about Travis Barker's startling and unexpected hospitalization.
There are still many questions about Barker's emergency trip to the hospital on Tuesday night, but it looks like we now have some answers.
According to TMZ, Barker (46) was rushed to the hospital for pancreatitis, which doctors believe might've been caused by a recent colonoscopy.
The update came from "multiple sources connected to the family." The condition essentially means the pancreas is inflamed, which can cause symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and intense stomach pain.
The drummer was carted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center by his wifey Kourtney Kardashian (43) on Tuesday and later transported via ambulance to West Hills Hospital and Medical Center for further care.
Prior to his emergency trip to the hospital, Barker tweeted "God save me." Following his hospitalization, his 16-year-old daughter Alabama Barker asked fans to "please send your prayers" her dad's way.
Thus far, none of the Kardashian-Jenners have publicly commented on Barker's condition.
We hope the legendary drummer and top-notch dad gets better soon!
