Tiffany Haddish reveals her heartwarming family plans
Los Angeles, California - Tiffany Haddish has shared extra special news with her fans and they couldn't be happier for her!
On Tuesday, The Girls Trip star revealed that she has begun the exciting process of adoption.
The comedian had mentioned eagerness to adopt in the past and now it looks like her plans to have her own family are in the works!
Haddish spoke to Entertainment Tonight and explained that she is looking to adopt an older child, especially because the recent pandemic that left a lot of kids without their parents.
"I want to get somebody that's five and up. You know, already knows how to use the restroom, already knows how to talk, already knows how to communicate. All I want to do is pour knowledge in … (and) get them ready for the big, bad world. That's what I want to do," the Night School star shared.
It would make sense for the Like a Boss star to want to adopt an older child since Haddish has a personal connection with living with different families.
When the actor was nine, her mother was diagnosed with a mental illness following a car accident. Haddish was sent to a foster home for a brief period and she was also homeless at the age of 18.
The 41-year-old is currently in a relationship with rapper Common. Now that she's ready to start a family, will she and the hip-hop artist walk down the aisle anytime soon?
