The Rock's first look at Black Adam sends fan into a frenzy

Los Angeles, California - Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson unveiled a juicy teaser for the upcoming DC film Black Adam – and it didn't disappoint.

On Saturday, at the DC FanDome, The Rock shared the first footage from the highly-anticipated film.

Black Adam has been a hot topic for DC fans since it was confirmed that the former wrestler would play the supervillan.

Appearing at the virtual event, The Rock introduced the exclusive clip from the movie's opening scene.

"Now, what you're going to see here is why the hierarchy of power in the DC Universe is about to change," he started.

Showing his pride in the project, the actor added, "This character, this film, this universe has been a gigantic project of mine for a very long time. It's the kind of project that I know comes along once in a lifetime. And the truth is, I was born to play Black Adam. The film has, without question, some of the biggest action sequences I've ever been part of."

In the chilling teaser, Adrianna Tomaz, played by Sarah Shahi, and her partner are seen uncovering Black Adam's resting place while exploring. After disturbing the temple, Black Adam appears and grabs a solider by the neck, vaporizing him.

The deity then starts levitating as the rest of the soldiers attempt to shoot him but are unsuccessful.

The explosive clip sent fans into a spiral with hilarious-yet-supportive reactions on Twitter.

"Take our money, take it now. #BlackAdam #DCFanDome," one account wrote with snaps from the teaser in the post.

Another tweeted, "Black Adam looks so good #DCFanDome."
