The Hills’ star has never been shy about his distaste for his sister, Stephanie Pratt, and it seems the feud has only grown worse with time.

When asked about how his relationship with his sister was, Pratt’s answer was simple: there isn’t one.

As far as he's concerned, nothing has changed: "It’s the same it’s been for like, 15 years. The Hills and the media and Stephanie and her podcast made it into this dramatic thing. I have the same opinion of her as I had in like, 2005."

The two siblings have been anything but civil in the majority of their interactions since The Hills first aired in 2006. The difference is that Spencer now has a child, but Stephanie knows very little, if anything at all, about her nephew.

Pratt went on to mention that Stephanie isn't shut off from the entire Pratt family: "She’s a great aunt to my older sister’s kids, but we’re not close for 15, almost 20 years now. So long that she wouldn’t be in Gunner’s life."

Second chances – or maybe not

When The Hills: New Beginnings reboot aired in 2019, longtime fans of the show thought that Stephanie, Spencer, and his wife Heidi might’ve finally reconciled.

They seemed to be getting along, posting pictures on Instagram together and showing love and respect to one another. Stephanie even publicly shared on her Instagram that the reboot brought the three back together.

Several months later, she changed her tune and opted out of further repairing any part of the relationship with her brother. On her own podcast, Stephanie really let loose: "I'm not going to pretend that Spencer and Heidi are good people like I was doing for most of the series for my parents. For the shit they've done to me recently, I'm done. They're the most toxic people I've ever met."

As for fans hoping the two might get another chance to mend their issues on the upcoming season of The Hills: New Beginnings, Spencer was quick to shoot that down, saying that his sister won’t be on the second season at all.
