Taylor Swift officially makes music history with Cruel Summer
Los Angeles, California - Taylor Swift has achieved a historic tenth No. 1 hit with her recent single, which just so happens to be four years old!
It's Taylor Swift's world, we're just living in it!
As the 33-year-old singer continues to dominate headlines thanks to her viral romance with Travis Kelce, her career has continued on a path to unparalleled success with another industry milestone.
On Monday, Swift's Cruel Summer officially hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, four years after its initial release on Lover.
The sleeper hit has been a fan-favorite since the album first dropped, but it didn't become a single until The Eras Tour, which features the track in its opening number, boosted its popularity.

With the release of Swift's concert film on October 13, the song has gotten yet another push on the charts.
The Karma artist also helped the track inch toward the top spot with a new EP titled The Cruelest Summer, featuring a live version from The Eras Tour and a new remix.
Swift now boasts 10 No. 1 hits on the Hot 100 and has earned a No. 1 hit on each of her last seven albums, consecutively.
Oh, and her concert movie is currently No. 1 at the box office, too!
Swift celebrated the achievement with a video alongside collaborator Jack Antonoff shared on Monday, with the pair joking that it was their "secret best song" all along.
"We just wanted to say thank you so much for making Cruel Summer a Hot 100 No. 1, and it's not even summer anymore!" Swift said.
