Lady Gaga gives Taylor Swift some serious love on TikTok
Los Angeles, California - Lady Gaga has shown big love for fellow pop star Taylor Swift with a supportive comment on TikTok.
Lady love? We love to see it.
The 36-year-old star left a comment on a TikTok that featured a clip from Swift's 2020 documentary Miss Americana, in which she opens up about her experiences with an eating disorder.
"I'm a lot happier with who I am," Swift says in the video. "I don't care as much if somebody points out that I have gained weigh. It's just something that makes my life better."
The 32-year-old described her past experiences with disordered eating, admitting that she didn't realize how serious of a problem it was at the time.
"I'm a size six [now] instead of a size double zero," she says. "That wasn't how my body was supposed to be, I just didn't really understand it at the time."
The artist, who recently edited her newest Anti-Hero music video omitting her self-critiquing "fat" label, confesses that she would dismiss concerns about her weight by telling others she was eating properly but was simply exercising a lot.
"I did exercise a lot, but I wasn't eating," she admits.
Gaga shared her support for Swift in the comment section of the TikTok post, writing, "That's really brave everything you said," with a black heart emoji.
In 2012, the Poker Face artist also publicly discussed her own battles with bulimia and anorexia, which began when she was just 15 years.
TikTokers love to see the two artists supporting each other, as Gaga's comment has received 20,5000 likes.
