Drake takes petty dig at Taylor Swift's Midnights success

Los Angeles, California - Drake threw some serious shade at Taylor Swift and the success of her latest album, Midnights, in his latest Instagram story.

On November 4, the 36-year-old rapper dropped his latest album, Her Loss, which is a collaboration with 21 Savage.

The release came two weeks after Swift released her tenth studio album, Midnights.

She broke several records with the hit album, surpassing Drake's previous record and becoming the first artist ever to occupy all top 10 spots on Billboard's Hot 100 in a single week.

Swift's lead single from Midnights, Anti-Hero, continues to reign supreme at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 for the third week in a row. The rest of the top 10 includes 8 tracks by Drake, which the rapper celebrated on his Instagram story with a screenshot of the chart.

However, the celebration took a petty turn as he blocked out Anti-Hero and Swift's name with several emojis. The pointed dig rubbed many fans the wrong way, especially since he didn't do the same for Sam Smith and Kim Petras, whose hit Unholy ranked 10th on the chart.

Vinlyz, who served as a producer on Rich Flex, shared Billboard's Global 200 Charts on his Instagram Story, which had the Her Loss track in the top spot while Anti-Hero was second.

The 33-year-old proved to share the same penchant for pettiness as Drake with the caption, "The world knows what the real #1 song is."

Drake has been slammed for his unnecessary digs at women

The dig drew significant criticism from fans, especially after the backlash Her Loss received for its unnecessary jabs at several famous women.

The album was slammed by Megan Thee Stallion, who the rapper accused of lying about being shot in the foot by Tory Lanez in one of the tracks.

Drake also mocked Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian, calling him a "groupie." Many called out the absurd diss, deeming the rapper "a clown" for the comment.

His continued immature behavior made waves on social media, with one Twitter user writing, "it's so sad how men are always trying to belittle women's success."

Swifties, in particular, mocked the rapper's shot at the singer given the previous public feuds that she's successfully spun in her favor. "Drake messing with the one person who has NEVER lost a fight is sending me like Taylor is not the one she will get you in silence," one user wrote.

While Drake continues to be petty on social media, it seems Swift is far too busy breaking Ticketmaster to provide a response.
