Did Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour setlist and special guests just leak?
Los Angeles, California - Taylor Swift fans are buzzing after a playlist for her highly-anticipated The Eras Tour created by her record label mysteriously appeared on streaming platforms. Could it have revealed which artists will appear as surprise guests on her tour?
The 33-year-old singer is set to embark on her first tour in over five years this spring.
The extensive tour will hit stadiums across the US and will feature a number of already announced prominent opening acts, including Phoebe Bridgers, HAIM, Paramore, girl in red, and more.
The Eras Tour will take Swifties through the many album eras of the Anti-Hero artist's career. And with so much music to choose from, fans are clamoring to find out what songs will make the final cut.
Now, a playlist seemingly created by Swift's record label, Universal Music Group, titled "The Eras Tour Setlist" has dropped online, and may have accidentally given away a few of the tracks that will be performed on tour.
Swift's Anti-Hero, You Belong with Me, cardigan, Love Story, willow, and Lover are all included on the list.
But the list doesn't just tease what Swift will sing, it also includes songs from several other musicians who haven't been confirmed as guests for the tour.
Did Taylor Swift reveal her special guest line-up for The Eras Tour?
Longtime Swifties will know that the singer often has special guests join her onstage during her shows, where she typically performs one of the guest's songs as a duet.
With that in mind, many believe that the playlist from her label may hint at some artists who will be brought on stage for a special appearance.
The 45-song playlist includes songs from Billie Eilish, Niall Horan, Selena Gomez, the Jonas Brothers, Shawn Mendes, Conan Gray, and Olivia Rodrigo.
Also making appearances on the playlist are confirmed openers Gracie Abrams and OWENN.
Of course, this could be yet another instance of over-the-top theorizing by Swifties, as the list may just be the mix of songs selected to play while the audience fills in the arena and waits for the show.
Yet, playing an artist's hits right before they're set to take the stage is rare. And there's certainly a precedent to support the possibility of these acts being special guests, as many of them have surprised audiences at Swift's previous tours.
If the rumors are true, Swifties are certainly in for the concert of their wildest dreams!
