Silver screen to silver spoon: these are Hollywood's highest-earning celebs
Los Angeles, California – Thanks to a huge deal with Netflix, James Bond star Daniel Craig currently tops the list of the highest-paid Hollywood stars – and by a wide margin!
According to Variety, Craig (53) will receive a whopping $100 million from the streaming giant for two sequels to the hit film Knives Out.
In the first installment, the British actor played a private detective brought in to solve the murder of a wealthy crime writer (Christopher Plummer, †91) at his birthday party.
Behind the Bond actor, and with only half the salary, follows Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson (49).
The former professional wrestler is set to receive $50 million from Amazon for his Christmas movie Red One (to be released in December 2023).
Will Smith (52) and Denzel Washington (66) bring in third and fourth place. Each is to receive $40 million.
They are followed by Leonardo DiCaprio (46) and Mark Wahlberg (50), each making $30 million.
The two highest-paid women in Hollywood, Jennifer Lawrence (31) and Julia Roberts (53), come only seventh on the Variety list. They will make $25 million each.
