Shania Twain celebrates new album release with surprise makeover!
Los Angeles, California - Country music star Shania Twain is leaving behind her wavy brown locks in her latest makeover!
At a recent event in Los Angeles, the 57-year-old singer stunned fans with her new straight, platinum blonde 'do.
Twain also shared a series of pictures of her new look on Instagram. Some fans said they had to look twice before they recognized her.
"I mean, a wise woman once said that the best part about being a woman, is the prerogative to have a little fun!" posing coach Christine Buzan commented under the photos.
It's not the first time the country star has experimented with other hair colors. The That Don't Impress Me Much singer even wore her hair pink at the People's Choice Awards last year.
Shania Twain releases new album
The new look came ahead of Shania Twain's new album release on Friday.
Queen of Me is the Canadian country icon's sixth studio album. Her first record was released in April 1993 and will soon be 30 years old.
The singer is hoping to take off again with the new music, especially after her past health struggles.
In 2003, Twain suffered from Lyme disease, which jeopardized her entire singing career, but an operation was fortunately able to save her vocal cords.
Recently, the singer revealed in an interview that she was in danger of losing her life due to a coronavirus infection.
After overcoming those difficulties, Twain is ready to conquer the charts again with a new hairstyle and new songs.
