Sarah Jessica Parker reveals Sex and the City revival's premiere month in teaser
New York, New York - Sarah Jessica Parker has revealed that the SATC revival And Just Like That will premiere sooner than expected.
On Tuesday, HBO Max announced that the long-awaited series will debut sometime in December.
In a brand new, albeit very brief teaser, Sarah Jessica shared the special news while on the set in New York City.
"Shooting, as we speak, the next chapter of Sex and the City – or as we like to call it, And Just Like That – with some beloved friends. But in the meantime," she began before gesturing to a title card that revealed the December announcement.
Though a specific date wasn't given, the news is still huge as fans have been itching to catch up with the iconic gal pals.
The synopsis for the impending revival teases that the now-trio of girlfriends will "navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s."
In addition to Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon also reprising their original roles – Chris North, John Corbett, Mario Cantone are also returning.
Plus, newcomers: Nicole Ari Parker and Sara Ramirez will also be appearing in the series.
The update follows the tragic passing of SATC alum, Willie Garson, who portrayed Carrie Bradshaw's endearing BFF, Stamford Blatch.
So there you have it! And Just Like That... is coming to HBO Max in December.
