Is Rihanna dropping a new album during the Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show?

Glendale, Arizona - The moment Rihanna was announced as the performer for the NFL Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show, fans immediately went into speculation mode. But will she actually release new music following the show? Some TikTok users think so.

Unless you've been living under a rock, you're likely aware that RiRi is set to take the stage for the halftime show on Sunday.

While much about her performance and long-awaited return to music is unknown, it's safe to say Rihanna's Super Bowl LVII appearance will be nothing short of legendary. Heck, during an Apple Music interview on Thursday that the company has since made private, Rihanna even said it'll be "incredible."

"It's gonna be a celebration of my catalog in the best way we could put it together,"RiRi said while acknowledging that it's no easy feat to try and fit 17 years of music into a 13-minute performance.

Thus far, Rihanna said there have been 39 versions of the set list, and the Kiss It Better singer admitted "every little change counts."

When asked about how she's feeling about the next chapter in her music career, Rihanna responded, "I'm feeling open. I'm feeling open to exploring, discovering, creating things that are new, things that are different, things that are off, weird, [and] might not ever make sense to my fans."

Of course, RiRi didn't reveal anything about a potential release date for new music, but that hasn't stopped the Rihanna Navy from throwing album-dropping theories around social media.

It should go without saying that since RiRi has yet to confirm (or deny) anything related to the release of new music, nearly every fan theory out there is pure speculation.

With that being said, some theories hold more weight than others due to context clues. TikToker @kidxvintage believes that RiRi will drop an album after the halftime show, and his reasoning is pretty convincing.

"I've been telling people for weeks with Apple Music sponsoring the halftime show for the first time, it seems like the perfect opportunity at the end of the show for them to say, 'brought to you by Apple Music, where you can hear Rihanna's new album now.'"

Honestly, he's not wrong.

TikToker @impersonalfoul is also convinced the Diamond singer is blessing the Rihanna Navy with new music after her Super Bowl performance.

"I think we're definitely going to get a full album, I mean, we deserve it. And maybe it'll be two parts, maybe three."

Steering clear of the new album chatter, TikToker @nataliebrereton opted to take things a step further with some tour speculation, which she described as "one rumor I f**king pray comes true."

"We know that RiRi is often asked, 'When is the new album dropping?' [but] could she be set to announce a world tour like Beyoncé did recently?"

The world will soon find out what Rihanna has up her sleeves when she takes the Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show stage on Sunday.
