There's a new lady billionaire in town, and she goes by the name of Robyn Rihanna Fenty.
On Wednesday, Forbes announced that the pop star is now worth $1.7 billion.
This makes her the richest female musician in the world!
Though the 33-year-old made her start in the industry through music, Rihanna's wildly popular beauty brand Fenty is to thank for the majority of her wealth.
According to the outlet, at least $1.4 billion of her fortune comes from her cosmetics line, which she co-owns with LVMH, a luxury goods company in France owned by Bernard Arnault.
The artist's company, which launched in 2017, has garnered acclaim for its diversity and was dubbed one of the best inventions of the year by Time magazine.
Rihanna is the second-wealthiest woman in the entertainment industry — right after Oprah Winfrey.
The Umbrella singer isn't the first celebrity to score her billionaire status via her beauty line. Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner also both bagged billionaire titles through their respective fashion and makeup lines.
Nevertheless, this summer is certainly a good one for the Barbados-born star, in more ways than one.
