Rapper Tyga arrested for assaulting ex-girlfriend
Los Angeles, California - Tyga has been arrested and was held on $50,000 bail for allegedly physically assaulting his ex-girlfriend.
On Tuesday, the 31-year-old was booked by the Los Angeles Police Department and held on bond after his former girlfriend, Camaryn Swanson, accused him of abuse in a filed police report.
He was charged with felony domestic violence and released after posting bail.
According to TMZ, the incident occurred between the rapper and his ex at his home in Hollywood Hills on Monday.
The model shared graphic photos of the injuries she claimed the rapper gave her on her Instagram story.
"@tmz_tv I've been emotionally, mentally and physically abused and I'm not hiding it anymore," she wrote in a caption accompanying the first photo.
Camaryn continued with a second pic, "I'm so embarrassed and ashamed it had to get to this but I have to stand up for myself."
She also shared a snap of the pair's text conversations and claimed that she "tried to leave" but "he physically assaulted and refused to let me leave for hours."
