The musician, whose real name is Zerail Dijon Rivera, was sitting in his parked car on Chadron Ave in Hawthorne last Thursday speaking with a friend on his phone, when all of a sudden several shots were fired through his window.

Fans were left in utter shock as they watched him duck before looking back at the camera with blood on his face.

"Help", Indian Red Boy continuously said in a weak voice before telling his viewers that he was in Hawthorne.

Only seconds later, he collapsed.

Videos of the tragedy are still circulating on the internet.

According to CBS Los Angeles, he was pronounced dead at the crime scene. He had been shot in the face multiple times.

As reported by Daily Breeze, the shooter has not yet been identified.

Hawthorne police Lieutenant Ti Goetz told the outlet, "It appears to have been a walk-up shooting, and he appears to have been targeted."

The killing may have been gang-related, MTO News reported. It is thought to have possibly been a response to a video Indian Red Boy shared on social media in which he danced while "throwing up [disrespectful] gang signs."

He was 21-years-old.

His killing comes as the national conversation on gun violence has been at the forefront of America's issues.
