"It was fun while it lasted": Pete Davidson and Phoebe Dynevor are over!
New York, New York – Love has come and gone as Pete Davidson and Phoebe Dynevor call it quits.
Long distance relationships aren't for everyone, and Pete Davidson found this out the hard way.
After unofficially dating Bridgerton's Phoebe Dynevor for nearly four months, E! News reported that the couple has ended things due to the distance.
Given that Dynevor resides in England and Davidson in Staten Island, New York, it's not hard to imagine how much the physical distance affected the couple in their short time together.
A source told E! News, "They had fun, but it wasn't sustainable being so far apart. It was great while it lasted, but they both agreed it was best to move on."
Breaking away from the pattern most fall into, Dynevor and Davidson never made things 'Instagram official', but were seen cozying up to one another at Wimbledon in July after months of being spotted walking the streets by prying eyes.
While the couple seemed like the perfect fit, constantly traveling between New York and England has proven difficult, despite Davidson's efforts to see Dynevor as much as possible.
In July, an insider told E! News that Davidson didn't mind jet-setting across the ocean, "because he's very excited about spending time with her".
Regardless of the passion and interest that may still remain between the two, the distance proved to be unsustainable, inevitably leading to the couple's split.
