Ozzy Osbourne's major surgery will "determine the rest of his life"
Los Angeles, California - Ozzy Osbourne was visited by his family on Monday after undergoing a major, life-changing surgery.
On Friday's episode of The Talk UK, Sharon Osbourne explained that her husband "has a very major operation on Monday, and I have to be there."
"It's really going to determine the rest of his life," she added.
Sharon didn't give any further details, but according to Page Six the surgery is "to remove and realign pins in his neck and back."
The rock legend has had a good deal of health issues the past few years. In 2003, he suffered major injuries from a quad bike accident, in 2019 he had to receive 15 screws in his spine after a severe fall, and in 2020, Osbourne announced that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.
The former host of the US version of The Talk also said that she plans to attend the birth of a second granddaughter while she is in Los Angeles, as Jack Osbourne prepares to welcome another daughter.
Sharon and Ozzy's daughter Kelly also recently revealed that she was expecting her first child.
Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne are due to celebrate their 40th anniversary on July 1, but to what extent they can do that will depend on the result of Monday's surgery.
