Olivia Wilde calls out Jason Sudeikis for serving her at CinemaCon: "clearly intended to threaten me"
New York, New York - Olivia Wilde fired back at her ex-husband Jason Sudeikis for serving her with custody papers while presenting at CinemaCon, and it seems the legal system is on her side.
According to court documents obtained by the Daily Mail, Wilde (38) not only filed to have Sudeikis' case thrown out, but she also had some choice words for her ex regarding the decision to serve her while she was on stage at CinemaCon.
"Jason's actions were clearly intended to threaten me and catch me off guard. He could have served me discreetly, but instead he chose to serve me in the most aggressive manner possible," Wilde said in the docs.
"The fact that Jason would embarrass me professionally and put our personal conflict on public display in this manner is extremely contrary to our children's best interests."
Though Wilde seems to strongly believe that the Ted Lasso star had malicious intent, Sudeikis doubled down on his stance that he never intended for her to be served that way.
"I understand that the process server had only done her job; however, I deeply regret what happened," Sudeikis wrote in court docs. "Olivia's talk was an important event for Olivia, both professionally and personally, and I am very, very sorry that the incident marred her special moment."
Regardless of Wilde and Sudeikis' opinions on how the Booksmart director was served over the Horrible Bosses star's desire to establish custody of their children – Otis (8) and Daisy (5) - in New York, a judge tossed out Sudeikis' requests on Wednesday, citing that the kids' state of residence is California.
The exes had reportedly been managing their co-parenting agreement up until Wilde voiced her desire to relocate the kids to London, where she's living with her new boo Harry Styles.
