Olivia Rodrigo has a new boo, but is their love just a "Faze"?
Los Angeles, California – Olivia Rodrigo's career has skyrocketed this year, and it seems her love life is following close behind with a new boo in her corner.
Heartbreak at the ripe age of 18 can be tough to get through, but Olivia Rodrigo seems to have made it out alive.
Since the release of her debut album, Sour, the Good 4 U singer has been riding the wave of rapid success all while getting over an ex with her music, and the support of her fans.
All that heartache Rodrigo had previously gone through led her to where she's at in her career, and allegedly into the arms of a new lover.
In June, Rodrigo attended a movie premiere party for Space Jam: A New Legacy with a plus one in film producer, Adam Faze. Sources close to Rodrigo had told E! the 18-year-old was introducing and referring to Faze as her boyfriend at the event.
According to blogger Stuart Brazell who attended the party, Rodrigo and Faze looked, "comfortable and newish", adding that it seemed the pair were a "cuddly, new young love."
On July 12, Page Six confirmed the rumors after publishing photos of the couple engaging in some car-side PDA by shamelessly locking lips and holding each other.
But since then, the two have managed to remain extremely low-key, and if they've been actively hanging out, the paparazzi have yet to find a way to track them down.
What we know about Rodrigo's mystery man
At this point in time, neither Rodrigo nor Faze have commented on their rumored relationship.
Considering Faze's Instagram account – which Rodrigo follows – is currently private, it's been challenging to get any information on the 28-year-old, but here's what we know so far.
According to IMBd, Faze has dabbled in writing, producing, and directing for TV shows, films, and music videos. His name is listed as the director for Goody Grace, G-Eazy, and Juicy J's animated short for their 2020 single, Nothing Good.
Faze also shares a production company with fellow Indie producer, Jamie Dolan, called Must B Nice.
This year, he ventured out on his own to launch an upstart studio called FAZE, which has already landed its first major experimental indie flick, Who Am I?
Deadline reported that the film will include Alisha Boe and Brandon Flynn from the popular Netflix series, 13 Reasons Why.
It's unclear how Faze and Rodrigo met, but considering they're both putting in the work in their respective industries, it's not a far-off to think the two were introduced by mutual friends or colleagues.
Given Faze's experience in music video production, who knows – maybe his name will be listed as a producer for Rodrigo's next music video.
