Olivia Rodrigo, HAIM, and more are hitting the road in 2022

Los Angeles, California – It's been a great year for music, and there's no better way to celebrate than by seeing your favorite music artists live in concert. Luckily, a slew of musicians just announced their 2022 tours.

If you thought 2021 was a good year for music, just wait for what 2022 has in store.

Since so many musicians were cooped up at home like the masses during the Covid-19 pandemic, many turned to their craft of making music to pass the time.

This, along with a general influx of creativity, led to quite the boom in music releases in 2021, with artists like Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish, and Lil Nas X all putting out full-length studio albums throughout the year.

But as things continue to open up, artists are beginning to feel more comfortable planning and announcing tours, and fans couldn't be more thrilled.

On Monday, both Olivia Rodrigo and the female trio that is HAIM both announced they were hitting the road in 2022.

This will be the first tour for Rodrigo, who had quite an explosive year when it comes to her music career.

In May, the 18-year-old released her debut album, SOUR, which has since landed the young artist six Grammy nominations.

It seems like the Los Angeles native is just getting started, and the only appropriate follow-up to an epic album release is by embarking on a massive world tour, and that's just what Rodrigo is doing.

2022 is the year for touring

The North American leg of the 2022 Sour Tour will kick off in San Francisco, California on April 2, 2022, and will stop in cities such as Chicago, Illinois, Washington DC, and Austin, Texas along the way.

World tour dates begin with a show in Hamburg, Germany on June 11, and wrap with a final show in London, UK on July 7.

According to Rodrigo's Twitter, tickets will be on sale starting Friday.

HAIM will be setting out on a tour that starts with a show in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 24, 2022, and will run through June 14 with the tour's final show in Bend, Oregon.

Though the sister trio didn't drop an album In 2021, they did release a new song, Cherry Flavored Stomach Ache, that was featured in the Netflix movie, The Last Letter From Your Lover.

The announcement of HAIM's new North American tour dates comes after the band announced its rescheduled UK tour dates in May, according to NME.

On Tuesday, Tame Impala announced new dates for their 2022 tour, while also dropping a new song titled No Choice in one fell swoop.

The tour will kick off with an appearance at Innings Festival in Tempe, Arizona on February 27, 2022, and end with a show in Perth, Australia on October 29. Tickets for the tour will go on sale Wednesday.

Given how hot these artists are at the moment, it's likely tickets will sell out quickly, so be sure to snag some when you have the chance!
