The 18-year-old came out as gay with a hilarious riff on a trending TikTok sound.

"When I finally told my family and friends I was gay after being scared in the closet for 18 years and all they said was 'we know,'" the video's text said.

Schnapp lip-synced to a popular audio on the platform that says, "You know it never was - that serious. It was never that serious. Quite frankly, will never be that serious."

In another TikTok video, Schnapp's friends parodied the celebrity death pranks currently trending on the app.

These pranks typically see a creator yell out the fake news of a celebrity's death (i.e., "Andy Cohen dead at 54!"), capturing the emotional reactions of the prank victims.

"Noah Schnapp, gay at 18!" his friend yells in the TikTok.

The group reacts in shock as the camera pans to the young actor yelling, "Oh my god!"

Schnapp was also lurking in the comments of videos shared by fans reacting to his coming out.

One fan-made TikTok used a trending sound from the TV show Glee. "There's only one person who can tell you what you are," Jane Lynch's iconic character Sue Sylvester says in the audio. "Me?" the other character replies. "No, me, Sue Sylvester," she finishes.

The creator captioned the video, "the stranger things casting director to 11 year old noah schnapp."

Schnapp commented on the post, "Literally like how'd they know when I was 10."
