Nick Cannon spills on why marriage isn't for him and his baby mamas
Los Angeles, California - Nick Cannon revealed why he probably won't walk down the aisle again, despite being connected to many partners.
The Wild N' Out star got candid about his love life and revealed that his ex-wife, Mariah Carey, may be the only Mrs. Cannon.
On the podcast It's Tricky with Raquel Harper, the TV host said he's onto a new journey in life, one that doesn't include tying the knot with any romantic partners.
He did, however, praise his time being a hubby to the pop diva.
"That, to me, was one of the greatest experiences of my life, and for that to have come to an end, why would I go back, if I couldn't make that work out right?" he explained on the podcast.
"Because I did my best in this space, and now there's a new journey in my life that's different. I'm not going to backtrack and put myself in that position again, because it doesn't get any better than that."
Her further remarked that he'd have to be "presented with something that I've never seen before" if he were to even consider another marriage.
"I love my family, all of my children, and every woman that has given me the blessing of being able to experience that. But marriage, and all that goes into that, is so, it's a lot," the 41-year-old added.
"You're literally entering a partnership where two become one. I'm not built for that."
Nick Cannon may be single, but he's a father to many
In a separate interview, the daytime talk show host dished on other personal area of his life.
By now, it isn't a secret that Cannon is the father of many children with different moms, as he is currently expecting his eighth child with model Bre Tiesi.
Last week, the Drumline star spilled to The Big Tigger Morning Show about his life as a soon-to-be dad of eight and what it's like to co-parent with multiple women.
When asked whether "all the baby mamas get along," Cannon explained, "They don't have to, they all get along with me."
"I don't keep no secrets. They know how I move. I multitask."
As for plans on extending his tribe, the comedian responded, "I just want to be responsible as a father. I didn't set out for this to happen. I just want to be the best father I can possibly be, and lean into it."
"I embrace all my children, I love children, but I wasn't setting out to be Father Abraham, I just embrace it. A lot of people have a lot of children as well, and they kinda keep it quiet or they don't talk about it. I lean into mine."
Cannon shares twins Monroe and Moroccan with his ex-wife, Golden "Sagon" and Powerful Queen with Brittany Bell. He also has nine-month-old twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir with Abby De La Rosa.
The All That alum was also dad to Zen with Alyssa Scott, but the baby tragically passed away in December after being diagnosed with brain cancer.
