Netflix releases teaser for new Kanye West doc
Los Angeles, California - Netflix has released the official trailer for Kanye West's upcoming three-part documentary, set to premiere in 2022.
Next year, fans will be able to get a more intimate look at the personal life of Ye.
Over the weekend, Netflix released a teaser for the 44-year-old's upcoming documentary, jeen-yuhs.
The three-part docu-series will highlight Kanye's life for the past 20 years.
The two-minute clip features rare throwback footage of Yeezy with fellow rapper Mos Def, frequent collaborator Consequence, and actor Wood Harris.
"Mos, can you spit a piece of that Two Words s**t?," the hip-hop star is heard saying – referencing a song featured on his album, College Dropout.
Mos proceeds to drop a few verses before a younger Kanye enthusiastically jumps in.
"Filmed over two decades, jeen-yuhs is an intimate and revealing portrait of Kanye's experience, showcasing both his formative days trying to break through and his life today as a global brand and artist," an official statement for the upcoming flick read.
The series will undoubtably focus on the rapper's career as a musician, the shocking passing of his mother, and his failed Presidential run.
But fans hope it will also cover some other controversial moments — such as his split from Kim Kardashian, his unresolved feud with Taylor Swift, and his meeting with Donald Trump.
Jeen-yuhs will premiere on Netflix in 2022.
