Megan Thee Stallion confirms Traumazine is arriving soon
New Yok, New York - All the rumors about Megan Thee Stallion's forthcoming album turned out to be true, per the Houston native herself.
All it took for "hotties" – what the rapper calls her fans – to figure out their queen was about to drop a surprise album was a single Instagram post defining "Traumazine."
As it turns out, the rumors that this was the name of her next album checked out, as did its alleged release date.
On Thursday, Megan Thee Stallion confirmed her album title and the date hotties can get their hands on it in another Insta post featuring a snap that's likely the record's cover photo.
"MY NEW ALBUM TRAUMAZINE IS OUT FRIDAY," the Grammy winner wrote in the caption. The 27-year-old also gave fans another treat in her IG post: the record's tracklist.
According to her IG post, Traumazine will be an 18-song album with some fire features from icons in the industry like Jhené Aiko, Future, Pooh Shiesty, Latto, and Rico Nasty to name a few.
In Megan Thee Stallion's teaser post from last week, Traumazine is defined as "the chemical released in the brain when it is forced to deal with painful emotions caused by traumatic events and experiences."
If that's any indication of the subject matters on her forthcoming record, Traumazine is going to be one hell of a lyrical journey that we can't wait to take.
